If anything is missing, do not hesitate to point out.

Post  Lusor Thu Jun 23, 2011 12:36 am

Starting with the letter M:

MC
Main Character. The most important character of a storyline, the protagonist.

Meta-gaming
Mixture of OOC and IC. In most cases, only taking elements of OOC into IC is controllable and considered meta-gaming. IC to OOC then would just be called "taking RP too serious". Full explanation of meta-gaming is viewable here.

Meta-posing
Giving other role-players information their characters don't know. Full explanation here.

MMORPG
Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game.

MP
Moderate Powers. Term mostly used in the context of T1 (Tier 1) role play.

MV
Multiple Versions. The MV object (usually a RPC, but cases exist of RP cities and such as well) is then used in different RP communities/environments, and the versions will be different in the part that happened since the creation. Locations in anime RP often count as MV since other RP groups based on the same anime will RP it out differently.

MYOB
Mind your own business.
